Earth & Environment
Through the work of researchers, professors and students, Universidad San Francisco de Quito contributes to the conservation of critical species and ecosystems in Ecuador and around the world. We develop conservation projects in different ecosystems such as the Amazon, the cloud forest, and the Galapagos Archipelago. Our conservation work is based on our close relationship with local actors such as communities, civil society organizations, and local governments that live in biodiverse environments. In addition, we sustain collaborations with national and international organizations that promote environmental conservation, restoration, and remediation projects.USFQ is committed to the conservation of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems and the sustainable management of natural resources in Ecuador, the region, and the planet.
